Identify the Mechanism and Supply Scope
The cleat configurations in this category should be identified by their actual product reference and operating arrangement. Where a fitting folds or moves into a stored position, both positions matter to the component review. Describe the Mounting and Movement
Include the base dimensions, fixing pattern, pivot arrangement and clearances shown on the approved design. Identify the space available around the fitting and the surfaces that contact adjoining components. A dimensioned assembly drawing gives a clearer basis for review than a single product photograph.
Specify Components and Finish
State the material required for each supplied part, including any pins or fasteners. Describe visible surface finishing and identify features that need machining or inspection. For a moving assembly, agree the sample checks and acceptance criteria for the specified design. Do not treat a finish description as a statement of the fitting’s operating capacity.
Arrange Sample and Production Review
Send the selected cleat drawing, quantity and required documentation to CastingFoundries. Record accessories and packing requirements in the enquiry. Maintain one approved drawing revision for the sample and subsequent production so that changes to the base, movement or finish remain traceable within the order.
